US-based IT service vendor / Client: Bank

• Review the existing IT operation process and control, as well as the organization structure
• Perform application knowledge transfer from current application teams on agreed application systems and maintain such knowledge base using SharePoint to facilitate further use.
• Work with relevant support parties to make recommendation of automation and/or process revamp to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production support work.
• Assist in implementation of the improvement solutions, define priority and escalate major production issues promptly and the resolution delivery timely.
• Perform troubleshooting to any production issues and coordinate with the application teams and relevant support parties to fix the issue
• Perform system documentation on the current application environment including application design, application architecture system flow database / interface specification and operation manual.

• University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline
• 5-8 years' hand-on working experience using Java, J2EE, Weblogic, MS SQL Server, etc.
• Broad IT background with emphasis on the application development and support cycle related methodologies and technologies
• Proven abilities in implementing and working in complex software solutions
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
• Expert written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese
