Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprenticeship Programme Professional to join our Siemens Mobility Education & Skills Training function in Northampton. In this role you will provide comprehensive support in the programme management of employers to meet their business talent and apprenticeship requirements. You will support the on-boarding of learners and management of the apprenticeship schemes. You will be a team contributor in ensuring that Siemens Mobility & NTAR continues to provide a first-class service to our learners and customers in line with the requirements of Siemens Mobility Professional Education (SMOPE), OFSTED, ESFA and our Awarding Organisations. You will prepare routine reports, correspondence, and / or statistics and maintain the integrity of apprenticeship records and filing systems. You will co-ordinate the delivery of apprenticeship related events both within Siemens Mobility trading as NTAR (National Training Academy for Rail) and in support of the Entry Level Talent (ELT) Programmes team when joint events are required. Also supporting the Senior Apprenticeship Programme Manager and Apprenticeship Programme Managers in developing the apprentice to gain personal, professional, technical skills, knowledge, and competencies required. What are your responsibilities Support the Apprenticeship Accounts and Programmes Professional Group (AAP) with the onboarding of apprentices onto programme, including collating personal data Coordinate and support of the delivery of onboarding/induction training and events Conduct pre-employment checks for new learners Update, maintain, and report on all learner data, ensuring safe storage of required documentation; track and record third-party learner reports Send programme communications to learners and other customers Generate and maintain critical metrics of account and apprentice performance to navigate and draw out information on OneFile Maintain the integrity of learner records and filing systems Organise and prepare for Apprenticeship associated events and activities including responding to social media queries Assist in maintaining arrangements for learner well-being, safety, Safeguarding and the Prevent Duty Provide pastoral learner support in line with Siemens contractual obligations as defined by Siemens Mobility Professional Education UK Develop an entry-level talent community that maximises the learners’ well-being and forges links across sites and externally where appropriate Support the delivery of apprentice engagement/satisfaction at work - capturing and reporting on learner and customer satisfaction data, as required Support the AAP and CAV team in conducting Monitoring Reviews on learners Record standardisation and other meetings where required, e.g., support in employer meetings, recording and following up on actions Assist in conducting quality assurance processes, following Ofsted and ESFA guidelines What do you need to qualify for this role Essential: NVQ Level 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with people at all levels Effective relationship building and communication skills Good organisational and time management skills Someone with a good eye for detail Preferred: Experience in an industry with high levels of regulation and compliance Experience of vocational programmes/qualifications in the engineering sector Good knowledge of Safeguarding Effective negotiating and influencing skills Good presentation skills Aptitude to IT systems Able to work on own initiative as part of a virtual team Knowledge of the Apprenticeship cycle and supporting processes Relevant training qualification (CIPD or similar) Familiarity with OFSTED & ESFA rules and guidance Event management training Experience using OneFile or other LMS system This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check About us We’re Siemens.
