CallisonRTKL seeks an intermediate Architectural Designer to join its Commercial Practice Group located in our Shanghai office.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with senior team leader supporting design and technical tasks
• Assists with construction document preparation
• Revises drawings and renderings
• Conducts research for the project team
• Produces graphic presentations and builds study models
• Performs calculations and basic analytical tasks
• Organizes files, materials, and displays
• Provides technical guidance to junior staff

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 4-8 years of architecture experience
• Recognized experience in design of large-scale or mixed-use projects
• Excellent design understanding and expression
• Knowledge of Chinese construction practices
• Proficient in both verbal and written English
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
• Maintains effective communication with project team members
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, InDesign, Office and Revit
• Acquainted with Rhino preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred
