CallisonRTKL seeks a senior Architectural Designer to join its Workplace Practice Group located in Beijing.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages the project process for the Workplace sector
• Represents the project or practice as the primary contact for client interaction
• Negotiates critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
• Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
• Serves as the main contributor during client meetings and presentations
• Responsible for financial management of all assigned projects

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 9+ years of architecture experience
• Professional registration
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
• Knowledge of Chinese construction practices and management of projects in China
• Excellent graphic representation, team leadership and management skills
• Proficient in both verbal and written Mandarin and English
• Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all clients and employees
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• SketchUp, Photoshop, and/or BIM is strongly preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred
