The Core architecture team is looking for outstanding Security Engineer to help strengthen Intel's efforts in the area of cybersecurity at the hardware level.
The job includes:

• Identifying and addressing potential hardware security vulnerabilities in coordination with design and validation teams
• Analyzing code demonstrating potential transient execution attacks and related issues
• Defining software interfaces in support of joint software/hardware defenses
• Defining microarchitectural improvements for hardware security robustness and defense-in-depth
• Developing new CPU capabilities in the area of hardware security
• Working with customers and partners to address emerging hardware security issues

Qualifications

• Outstanding EE or CS graduate. MSc degree is an advantage.
• Aptitude for adversarial thinking is required.
• Prior cybersecurity background is a plus, but not required.
• Processor core logic/uArch background is an advantage.
• Programming aptitude is required.
• Experience with system software, low-level programming or disassembly is an advantage.
