Overall Aim of the Job (Mission):

Lead the Linkong project design team in the design stages to construction completion. To ensure ICC’s objectives and ambitions to design quality, integrity, program and cost are implemented, monitored and managed in the project.

DESCRIPTION DESIGN MANAGER General (DM)

Mission: The overall aim of the design manager is to safeguard the commercial concept in all design making decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Architecture, Interior Architecture, Lighting, Landscape and traffic, for Shopping Centre and all Mixed use components
• Lead Design team to meet necessary project deadlines
• Monitor the implementation of the commercial brief into the Architectural narrative of the project
• Secure Design schedule
• Secure ICC China Design Policies implementation
• Coordinate and analyze ICC China internal input from necessary internal departments
• Secure internal decision on design
• Collect necessary information into briefs to LA, LDi and all other consultants
• Guide and monitor external design related consultants
• Ensure all disciplines and coordinated
• Ensure design integration is successfully achieved between SC and IKEA
• Coordination with leasing regarding all unit location, shape, orientation and needs
• Secure building code, fire regulation, road legislation etc. implementation

Qualifications

Knowledge& Background:

• University degree in architecture

• >10 years experience in the field of architecture

• Work experience from LDI (ideally)

• Work experience with foreign architect firms

• Work experience creating building specifications

• Understand IICG concept and value

Nice to have:

• Commercial project experience
