Job Purpose

  • To ensure area of China territory objectives are achieved by translating the overall sales strategies into an agreed and effective Sales/Sector strategy for all existing trade channels to maximize sales and profit.
  • To collect, analyze and communicate the relevant business and market information and develop recommendations for actions which contribute to the growth and profitability of the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales business plan and budget for assigned territories, regular report and update on competitor activities and local manufacturers strengths and weaknesses.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the area of China.
  • Work with team on Sales & Technical seminars to the industry.
  • Manage and coordinate the assigned territory distributor.
  • Lead and assist customer services in ensuring high level of service and response time with monthly review of samples and quotation follow-up.

Quality:
  • The job holder is aware of her special responsibility for quality and conducts his/her activities in accordance with the Company quality policy at all times.
  • Ensure results are documented in accordance to cGMP and procedure.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience – Professional, Technical

  • Degree in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Chemical engineering/Business or related discipline
  • 5-7 years’ experience in sales environment
  • Knowledge of local pharmaceutical industry, some R&D/Technical/manufacturing experience would be an advantage
  • Result oriented & self-starter
  • Willing to travel >60%
  • Team player, work independently, self-motivated and good communication skills.
