Job Description
Job Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Where will you be working? Siemens RSS AE is pleased to announce challenging opportunity to work within our team managing Solution Sales in Abu Dhabi. You will work with Head of Sales to address market in its entirety. You will work with SOL Sales team in Abu Dhabi and address different stakeholders in the market depending upon project circumstances. You are also required to deal with consultants for early engagement on opportunities. You are required to be proficient in handling direct reports, managing and motivating them to improve our footprints in Abu Dhabi Market. You are expected to identify prominent market trends and position Siemens accordingly. Exploring new niche segments of the market for higher chances of success with better profitability. Specific Responsibilities • Area Solution Sales of core Siemens BMS, Security and ELV systems • Monthly and quarterly forecast of order intake, relevant to targets assigned • Develop strategic key account approach in coordination with BD team, especially with focus on Govt and semi Govt accounts • Build long-term partnering relationships with Clients/ Contractors and actively participate in the decision-making process to drive the sales. Actively listen, probe and identify concerns. • Understand the customers’ needs. Demonstrate managerial skills to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment • Positively and credibly influence strategies with Client. To ensure the submission of competitive, high quality and timely estimates, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis in coordination with your team • Review and define different market segments and accordingly form a strategy to address the needs with wide range of offerings with Siemens or 3rd party • Competitive Information Gathering/Strategy on project-to-project basis. • Training / keep self-up to date on technical changes to improve technical know-how. • Excellent relations with Local Sub vendors, sub-contractors, especially with all 3rd party subsystem suppliers, installation vendors to compile most competitive bid • Adhere to company processes, compliances and policies, with zero tolerance, while executing professional responsibilities Shared tasks and responsibilities • Support pro-actively and communicate effectively with the entire team. • Manage Abu Dhabi Sales team effectively for better market coverage • Guide the team for aggressive approach and winning attitude for consistent performance • Develops relationship with centralized support staff to exceed customers' expectations. • Share Best Practices/Experiences with Team About You To be successful in this role, you will need extensive customer facing/engagement exposure, effective management of Sales team, prudent yet ambitious planning and forecasting approach At least 15+ year experience with Principal suppliers or System Integrators in local UAE market.
