Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related discipline from an accredited
college or university, a Master’s degree is desirable.
2. Teaching certification and/or qualification in primary art education and/or IB PYP training
preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years of teaching Arts experience, preferably within an IB PYP setting.
4. English should be the first language.
5. Proficient in use of Kiln, sinks, paints and other art supplies.
6. Good ability to give instructions to students and help meet individuals' needs
7. Good vision, ability to move around the art room.
8. Practical thinking and decision-making.
9. Strong administrative skills and use of school learner management systems.
10. Experience with differentiation, classroom management, and student assessment.
11. Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
12. Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
13. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support young learners in developing needs.
