Our Management Trainee (MT) Program aims to develop high calibre fresh and recent graduates as competent talents in the general insurance industry to support our different lines of business, service needs, and overall development of our Company. The Program also aims to grow young talents with strong potential to become a multi-skilled future business leader at Asia Insurance.
Program Structure & Exposure
We will provide participants with learning opportunities, exposure to business, on-the- job training, and professional development that is needed in the insurance industry. Trainees will be attached to designated lines of business on a rotational basis for a minimum of 3-6 months. Participants will be given different tasks, assignments, projects associated with the business to maximize learning opportunities and exposure.
Successful participants will undergo a comprehensive 36-month well-structured programme to develop themselves to assume a promising career with Asia Insurance.
Other Features
Training: we will offer different professional training and talent development programmes for Trainees in order to prepare them to take up various challenges of their work.
Coaching: regular one-on-one coaching sessions by function leaders where Trainees will receive valuable feedback during their job rotation.
Overseas Travel: Trainees will be given the opportunity for business travel and assignments outside of Hong Kong to network with industry professionals and learn about best practices in the industry.
Professional Qualification: we will support Trainees to attain professional qualifications as required by the insurance industry as well as the chosen business/ function stream.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience: no formal work experience required, OR less than 2 years’ post-graduate working experience will be considered. Final year students or most recent graduates of local, and overseas universities are welcome to apply.
- Education: holder of a minimum Bachelor’s degree from any discipline with very strong academic results.
- Capabilities: high versatility and flexibility, great attention to details, good logical and critical thinking skills.
- Communication skills: excellent command of both spoken/ written English, plus Cantonese capability, strong presentation and communication skills.
- Team spirit: great team player, able to work with others to achieve the objectives/ goals.
- Other requirements: willing to accept challenges, proactive, passionate, strong interest to be part of the insurance industry.
- PR of Hong Kong, or holding a valid Hong Kong work visa welcome to apply
