Job Description
The incumbent will provide professional marketing communications support to the assigned market segments and geographies in Asia region. You will develop and implement integrated communications programs that align with business and marketing strategies and objectives to enable profitable and sustainable growth. Tactics will include advertisements, collaterals, videos, trade shows and events, technical conferences, external speaking opportunities, product PR, social and digital media etc. The incumbent will also partner with corporate communication team to share knowledge and provide the required support.
The position will require the incumbent to collaborate closely with business and marketing teams of diverse segments and geographies that he/she supports, understand the business strategies and marketing objectives, provide strategic input, implement the programs and measure the results.
As a member of Asia Communications team, the incumbent will participate and support other communications programs and activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
CORE COMPETENCIES:
The position will require the incumbent to collaborate closely with business and marketing teams of diverse segments and geographies that he/she supports, understand the business strategies and marketing objectives, provide strategic input, implement the programs and measure the results.
As a member of Asia Communications team, the incumbent will participate and support other communications programs and activities.
- Act as the regional marketing communications lead to provide integrated marketing communications support to the assigned market segments and geographies in Asia region.
- Partner with marketing teams and other stakeholders to develop annual marketing communication plans, implement programs, monitor budget and measure the results to enhance Air Products brand awareness, build differentiations and penetrate new markets to enable profitable and sustainable business growth.
- Perform a significant amount of English and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) writing, editing and review of marketing collaterals and sales tools.
- Develop digital communications including website, social media and e-channels that improve awareness, engagement, and customer lead generation in digital age.
- Work closely with US and European marketing and marketing communications teams to enable global sharing, alignment and leverage
- Work with vendors or corporate inhouse visual communication team to deliver high quality communications materials within timeline and budget
- Act as brand ambassador and live the brand values through integrated marketing communication programs
- Develop and maintain infrastructure/system to improve work efficiency and effectiveness
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related disciplines
- 10+ years of well-rounded experience in marketing or corporate communications. Experience in global B2B organizations in regional role highly preferred.
- Proven track record and solid functional expertise in integrated marketing communications including brand building, event management, collateral development, copywriting, printed production, video production, website and social media promotion.
- Strong communications, presentation and influencing skills
- Exceptional English writing and storytelling ability including technical writing and editing. Ability to create clear and concise message
- Good business acumen, strategic thinking, good analytical mind, problem solving and attention to details are perquisite
- Strong ability to collaborate and partner with colleagues of different cultural backgrounds. Independent, good team player, initiative with good interpersonal skills
- Candidate with less experience would be considered as Senior Marketing Communications Specialist
