POSITION OVERVIEW
H.B. Fuller is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team.
This recruiter will be responsible for understanding their assigned region’s workforce planning needs and developing strategies to attract and hire best-in-class talent for the region. Recruitment activities include; networking, data mining, social media and cold calling. This recruiter will also help drive employment brand initiatives and participate in recruiting projects globally as needed. The position reports to the Global Manager of Talent Acquisition.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Proactively researches and investigates innovative sourcing strategiesSources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
Sources passive candidates through networking, cold calling, social media and Internet research
Keeps up-to-date on trends and market shifts in Talent Acquisition
Helps coordinate and participate in large scale recruitment events like career days, job fairs and college recruiting
Serves as the primary point of contact, promoting and driving social media programs to maintain external enthusiasm for H.B. Fuller
Meets with hiring managers to discuss upcoming company needs and develops multi-faceted sourcing and recruitment strategies
Delivers qualified candidates (short list) for open positions to the business/function in a timely manner
Works closely with hiring managers providing consistent communication regarding all openings and candidate status
Assists in counseling hiring managers on global staffing and recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Ensures compliance and understanding of hiring and compensation guidelines
Communicates status of selection process to applicants
Assesses and develops creative strategies to enhance the overall candidate experienceLeverages data and analytics to drive decisions and identify areas for process improvement
Ensures recruitment files are completed in accordance with compliance standards, which include completion of evaluations, applicant tracking, and appropriate documentation
Tracks recruitment expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary limitations
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, Masters preferred3-5 years of recruiting experience and understanding of HR policies and procedures
Must be bilingual in Chinese and English
3+ years experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably SilkRoad (OpenHire)
2+ years experience working in a retained executive search, boutique search firm and/or agency
2+ years experience sourcing, recruiting and negotiating offers with director level positions and above
1-2 years experience of sourcing and recruiting internationally
2+ years experience using social media as a recruiting tool
