SCOPE OF ROLE

This role is expected to be the DM functional head or a leader of a significant portion of the DM group.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES (Summarizes the job’s purpose or role and why it exists in the organization)

1. Recruit, retain, develop, and manage DM associates

2. Plan and manage DM resource to meet demand

3. Maintain ultimate responsibility of all deliverables within the group

4. Create functional strategies and specific objectives, develops polices/procedures to support the functional infrastructure

5. Represent the company or function in interactions with external parties

Participate and contribute to organizational initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS (the minimum skills, knowledge and experience required for the role)

• Academic / Professional qualification

• Master’s degree and above on a health or quantitative science related field

• Technical / skills training

• Solid knowledge of drug development process and regulatory requirements/standards, e.g., CDISC

• Good knowledge of commonly used eDC systems

• With rich experience in external collaboration and vendor management

• 5+ years of experience in clinical trial data management

• 2+ years of managerial experience

• Strong project management skills

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

• Language ability

• Fluent in Chinese and English (reading/writing/listening/speaking)

• Computer literacy

• Good at PC skills on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other computer tools

Interfaces with other departments

Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Medical Sciences, Safety, Regulatory Sciences, Integrated Project Lead, and external vendors, etc..
