You are responsible for

  • Performing all levels of electronic assembly and testing where needed.

  • Assemble complex mechanical and electro mechanical assemblies following work instructions and or drawings.

  • Inspect electronic assemblies for proper workmanship as defined in assembly procedures.

  • Implementing Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement strategies.

  • Carrying out assignments in a safe and efficient manner and ensuring work is in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and safety codes.

  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Clean and maintain work area, properly turn off and lock out equipment when applicable.

  • Adhere to production schedules and report material shortages.

  • Accurately document all required entries in an electronic Device History Record.

  • Carrying out assignments in a safe and efficient manner and ensuring work is in accordance with all established policies and procedures and safety codes.

  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) Clean and maintain work area, properly turn off and lock out equipment when applicable.

  • Comply with GMPs with regard to material labeling, SOPs and proper segregation of material in the production process.

  • Adhere to production schedules and report material shortages.

  • Accurately document all required entries in assembly.

You are a part of

The Emergency Care and Resuscitation (ECR) Operations Team organization within Philips Healthcare in Bothell, WA. This group is leading the way in emergency care and resuscitation from the field to the hospital, through our innovative portfolio of defibrillator-monitors and AEDs. The Operations group performs calibrations, while keeping the production floor equipment up and running.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

  • Be able to stand and/or sit for 10+ hours a day.

  • Be able to lift 20 lbs.

  • 2+ years of complex medical device mechanical assembly required.

  • Knowledge and experience working in a highly regulated environment

  • Must have basic computer skills.

  • Able to navigate on test screens using the mouse as prompted in the assembly procedures and test screens.

  • High attention to detail and team oriented by demonstrating cooperation and support.

  • Be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

  • Be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  • Lean Manufacturing experience required.

  • Operations may require the use of safety equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, or steel-toed shoes.

  • Use of mechanical and electrical tools, power tools, torque wrenches, volt meters, hand tools, and compressed gas.

  • One or more years working in a manufacturing environment around electrostatic sensitive devices required.
