Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking an Assembler on 2nd shift to join our team in Department 08. The hourly rate starts at $18/hr, depending on experience. The core hours are 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. This is a great entry-level role for someone interested in manufacturing! This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $1,000*, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms: Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after July 1st, 2022 to qualify. Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply. Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $500, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $500, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment Why work at Eaton? The primary role for this position is the Hanger Area/Fill & Hipot D08. In this function you will: Perform sub-assembly operations usually limited to a specific standard procedure - on a repetitive basis. Set up a workstation to facilitate easier assembly and operate independently or on a group basis. Screen defective parts or adjust as necessary and report any concerns to Team Leader or Supervisor. Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Position Success Criteria: Knowledge of soldering. Ability to read and use drawings, routings, blueprints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position. Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
