Eaton’s Aerospace Group, Interconnect Technology Division (ITD) is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is based at our City of Industry, CA location. This site is offering a start rate of $19/hr Position Overview: The Assembler will Work closely with manufacturing supervisor and group leaders to complete the production work assigned. In this function you will: Experience in reading schematics and wiring diagrams, specifications, and manufacturing procedures Good physical and visual coordination on assembly process Perform wire preparation, soldering and crimping in according to IPC-620 and J-STD-001 Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions, and understand BOMs Be proactive and work independently while managing multiple priorities in support of manufacturing Compliance with and adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety rules and regulations is a condition of employment Follow good housekeeping practices in work area and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in clean and operational condition When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Minimum of two years related experience in a manufacturing environment high school graduate or the equivalent Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Excel and Word Individual must have working experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing techniques and equipment including hand tools, measurement devices, soldering techniques and equipment, electrical test equipment and methods A solid understanding of IPC-620, IPC J-STD-001 and military specifications is required Able to read and understand in the language (English) of the documentation provided The candidate must be able to communicate verbally and in written form This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
