Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking an Entry Level Assembler to join our 3rd shift team. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN facility. In this function you will: Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, and wearing proper PPE Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton Quality standards and systems Assemble with various types of equipment to form complete cases or sub-assemblies in a work cell Use hand tools, small power tools or other special equipment Read orders and drawings to determine procedures. Work to drawing specifications. Perform inspection of parts and check quality using a variety of measuring tools. Perform rework operations as required. Use Kanban system to assure availability of parts. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area Train new employees. Cross train in various areas of the department and work in team-based environment. Work overtime as necessary. Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight. Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications: Previous manufacturing and/or assembly experience Must have been in current position for at least 6 months Position Criteria: Must not be on a written or a final written warning Employees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months service time in their current role before moving to the new role.
