Job Description

In this position your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
+ Develop and sustain such processes as: component attach, underfill lid attach, laser mark in semiconductor manufacturing operations.
+ Plans and implements operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety yields and quality of operations.
+ As module owner conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical success indicators and parameters of the process line.
+ Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products.
+ Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
+ Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output.
+ Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

- Demonstrated capability to meet tight timelines in multiple projects in parallel.

This position offers global exposure across all the Intel Factories around the world, because of this, it requires availability to cover meetings off hours (5 percent) and on call disposition (nights and weekends), schedule flexibility is also available.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Possess Bachelors or Licentiate Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemistry, Computer Engineering or related.
+ 2+ years of experience on a High Volume Manufacturing environment and experience on Problem Solving + Methodologies and Data analysis (Statistical SW, Data Base analysis).
+ Intermediate to Advance English Level.
+ Travel might be required for about 2-3 months.
+ Unrestricted costarrican work permit is required.

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of thermal dispensing and high precision pick place equipment in Assembly production lines.
+ Transfer of Technology from Technology Development to Production.
+ LEAN and Six Sigma.
