This is your role Job Family - Manufacturing Sub Job Family - Production Position Type - Supervisor & Team Leader Position - Assembly Supervisor - Floor Assembly PL - 10 Reports to - Production Group Supervisor - General Collaborates with - Logistics, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance & R&D Position Headline Ensures adherence to agreed production standards and procedures, and supervises all manufacturing staff related to a assembly section or assembly shift. Position Description * Ensures adherence to defined manufacturing guidelines, processes and procedures (focus on testing & packing). * Supervises production activities according to established quality standards and EHS requirements. * Contributes to production planning processes, and determines manufacturing priorities based on established daily, weekly & monthly production schedules. * Makes daily assignments, and assigns work and tasks to the member of the production group. * Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process. * Proposes procedures improvements and implements technical infrastructure. * Leads and supervises assigned Production Technicians, Operators and workers. Key Responsibilities 1. Oversees assigned (parts of) technologically demanding and complex processes in a automated production environment which do need specialized, experienced and well vocationally trained work force. 2. Assists effectively to budget accountable management. 3. Oversees all assigned - or major parts of - production sequences, and across shifts, in production unit. Plans, prioritizes and manages related resources and measures. 4. Establishes & fosters on primarily intra-organizational contacts and functionally oriented external contacts. Impact (Work environment & Management complexity) 1. Complexity is about managing 1 production groups on shop floor having around 12 operators & 15 thrid party contracts. 2. Due to changing priorities or differing situations encountered in one of the production groups assigned, thinking is focused on planning, prioritizing and optimizing of material and/or personnel resources and also all functional processes to ensure achievement of given or agreed standards (reliability, availability, safety, effectiveness, etc.). Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 1. BE - Mechanical / Electrical / Production with minimum 8-10 years of experience in Low Voltage Products in production / process planning department. 2. Both advanced practical and theoretical understanding and some significant advanced hands on experience is required to oversee and manage the diverse and relatively complex tasks in the related field of work." 3. Resource (Man, Machine & Material) planning as against customer demand. 4. Learning attitude is a MUST. 5. Hands on experience in implementing "Lean Manufacturing" project at shop floor. 6. Hands on experience in implementing "5S", "Kanban", "PDCA", "8D" tools. 7. Hands on experience in SAP - PP & MM module. Influence (Workflow/People) 1. Needs advanced understanding of how to direct, monitor, supervise qualified workforce (assistants and specialists) in a homogenously working team environment. 2.
