For this internship, we are looking for an ambitious young professional with a passion for engineering and data science that can support the Maintenance & Engineering team and the Packaging Team as an Asset Condition Modelling intern starting in February 2022 for 3 – 6 months.

Deliverables:

Deterioration models for production and manufacturing assets

Your learning goals will be:

Every production equipment deteriorates with time and would need to be replaced or retired due to performance, capacity, or cost issues. By modeling the deterioration behavior of equipment, it is possible to plan its replacement or retirement thus driving a proactive approach rather than a reactive approach to capital investment across production sites.

The goal of this project is thus to create deterioration models for classes of production and manufacturing equipment within EPO sites. The developed model will be developed using asset condition and intervention data collected over time from various EPO-sites.

A little about you:

• You are a Bachelor/Master student with a background in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• You have knowledge of engineering process design principles

• You have knowledge of engineering processes and condition modeling

• You are an advanced user of Microsoft Office application

• You possess knowledge of engineering modeling applications (MATLAB)

• You are fluent in English - both verbal and written
