Some of the roles and responsibilities include:

• • Drive definition of Asset Management procedures, that considers Costa Rica PROCOMER regulation, as well as the different asset control define by the department
  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains asset management procedure according to the Costa Rica regulation.
  • Teamwork with other areas asset owners to define processes and documentation
  • Share Asset Management best practices with other areas
  • Explore new methods and procedures for asset audit and asset inventory such as Power Apps, new ISMP applications, etc.
  • Designs routines, structure, and metrics to control asset and HVI inventory conformance Intel policies and Costa Rica regulation
  • May specialize in the asset management software/systems to interact, solve, and follow up cases with finances, logistics, trade, accounting, or any stakeholder
  • Responds to TRADE or Site Asset team escalation or performs activities such as Internal audits, finance audits, PROCOMER audits. Develops solutions to issue escalate or findings during audits, regarding asset controls
  • Perform Cycle count audits if is required or mandatory audits by Site Control team.
  • Work with Lab Manager and Process Engineers to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and establishes methods to ensure asset management control
  • Develops metrics to measure Asset management controls such as: Asset tagged, asset under 3 ways match, etc.
  • Perform asset purchasing under the Intel Policies, give the follow up until there are on site with the proper documentation that match with SPT, and items inventoried
  • Ensure the correct asset disposition (scrap / donation) following Intel guidelines and Costa Rica TRADE/ PROCOMER regulation
  • Ensure the correct asset shipment to other locations or buildings to compliance with Costa Rica regulation

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any engineering field or 1+ year of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level
• Customer service experience
• Experience achieving results through contractors / direct employees
• Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP
• Lean, Six Sigma experience
