Taiwan AM Operations now are currently looking for a highly motivated and dynamic professional to join our team in Taiwan, the team involves almost all major steps of investment accounts set up, transaction cycle, corporate action, settlement, and vendor engagement with third party vendor.
Key responsibilities include:
Taiwan AM Operations now are currently looking for a highly motivated and dynamic professional to join our team in Taiwan, the team involves almost all major steps of investment accounts set up, transaction cycle, corporate action, settlement, and vendor engagement with third party vendor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collect corporate action event details from vendor and input events in system when necessary.
- Reconcile corporate action event details among various sources and investigate if there are discrepancies.
- Send corporate action notifications to fund managers and collect decisions.
- Instruct service provider to update fund accounting records.
- Prepare instruction to custodians on corporate action events.
- Follow up outstanding entitlements with custodians.
- Handle enquiries from other parties regarding corporate actions and/or investment trades.
- Process fee billing for segregated mandates.
- Investment accounts opening/maintenance with custodians and counterparts.
- Process trade support activities.
- Conduct ad hoc projects/initiatives from managers
Qualification:
- University graduate, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in securities related fields
- Knowledge of data vendor systems (such as Bloomberg and Reuters) is preferred
- Good understanding of different security types
- Good understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access etc.)
- Able to work under pressure
- Fluent in English
