We are currently seeking an Asset Management Process Owner to join our Strategy, Process and Execution Center of Excellence (SPECOE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. The SPECOE Asset Management Process Owner develops, maintains, governs, monitors, and continuously improves all aspects of the Eaton Global IT Asset Management Processes, including the management of Software and Hardware assets. In this role: You will be responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of application - showing global leadership You will work in partnership with global decision makers and business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems. You will manage requirements in line with global templates and guidelines. Ensure that solutions are for the benefit of all users, sites, divisions and regions. You will own the set-up and governance of consolidated, worldwide target processes. You will demonstrate very strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and regions, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements. You will apply governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and ensure that necessary regression testing is delivered to ensure system integrity. You will support end to end processes and has a strong level understanding of system touch points. You will apply the global governance to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions. You will participate in global business process improvement committees as needed. You will demonstrate strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at a global level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language). You will drive innovation You will manage lease schedules, invoicing, chargebacks and returns of Server and Workstation hardware. You will manage software licenses, global licensing pools, software compliance activities, and take the lead on supplier audit requests. Minimum 7 years of asset management experience including a solid understanding of processes related to software and hardware purchasing, leasing, and management. Expert level of system expertise - fully demonstrated across many full-life cycle projects. Advanced knowledge of functional and technical capability Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Position Success Criteria: Demonstrated competence in ITIL Process Management. Excellent business and analytical skill for complex problem solving, demonstrated ability to understand business problems and to use analytical skills to research and resolve. Demonstrated competence in coaching and guiding employees across multiple geographic regions. Experience interfacing with all levels of IT professionals and business customers. Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. Demonstrated proficiency in meeting facilitation. Strong organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent analysis and documentation skills. Excellent communication (English oral and written) and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal relationship building and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to critically assess information for relevance, accuracy and feasibility. Preferred Qualifications: Completed numerous full life-cycle projects Demonstrates global systems leadership Black Belt in Six Sigma strongly desired Knowledge of ITIL Processes and tools Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $121,125 - $163,875 a year, with flexibility based on experience and skill level.
