- Daily contract review support in both English and Chinese
- Support legal counsels to provide advice during engagement teams’ contract negotiations
- Support legal counsels to prepare legal opinions or research on legal questions
- Support legal counsels to coordinate or deal with the inquiries or inspections from judiciaries and regulators
- Assist in the review of documents requested for production in relation to requests made by third parties, regulators or clients or in relation to claims or investigations
- Assist in incorporations, including review / draft corporate documents, such as articles of associations; resolutions and prepare statutory filings and declarations
- Assist in preparation of trainings relevant to legal knowledge and risk prevention
- Assist in updating and improving the Firm’s internal policies and rules
- Translate legal documents from English into Chinese and vice versa
- Assist in the review of simple legal documents such as waiver letters, consent letters or NDAs; and
- Assist responsible lawyers in general corporate work and other client matters
Experience and Knowledge
- A Bachelor’s degree of law from a Law School is required
- Minimum of 3 years experiences in legal practice
- Legal professional qualification certificate (法律职业资格证) is preferred
- Legal experiences in a famous group, or in reputable law firm(s) is preferred
- Good knowledge of PRC Contract Law, Company Law and Securities Law
- Good at summarizing key points from complex information and drafting relevant documents
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English and Chinese (mandarin) language skills (reading, spoken, written) are required
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office software.
- Quick starter, spirit of team work, ability to adapt, dedicated, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
