Job Description
We are looking to welcome a talented Assistant Accountant to our team!You will be working in a multi-skilled team, assisting with a wide range of different tasks for our rapidly expanding F&B group
- Month-end closing and preparing monthly report
- Cash reconciliation for the restaurants
- Ensuring full compliance with accounting policies and streamlining work procedures
- Assist the Accounting Manager in preparation of the weekly management report
- Maintaining the full set of books and reviewing the accounting transactions in detail
- Reviewing and conducting fixed asset counts, and stock take on a periodical basis
- Assist and participate in the implementation of new accounting software
Job Requirements
- LCCI qualified, or a student of other recognised professional accounting association such as AAT, ACCA etc
- At least 1-2 years of accounting experience; prior experience in F&B or retail industry is preferred but not essential
- Able to maintain the full set of accounts independently and work under tight deadline during month-end closing
- Familiarity with Peachtree software is a bonus
- Good communication skills
- Candidates with immediate availability or short notice periods are preferable
- Our open plan office is a 1 minute walk from Wong Chuk Hang MTR station
- Office hours are 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday (including 1 hour for lunch)
