What you will do

You will join the Fire Services / ELV Application Team in Hong Kong and will deliver configuration development on proprietary or third party products in accordance with established standards and project requirements.

How you will do it

• Source and develop product / solution offerings
• Work with internal team members to provide support for Systems and Controls Applications.
• Provide application development for building optimization offerings
• Understand market needs, identify the system / product gaps and recommend additional Controls Systems and Product Offerings to management
• Work with Asia Engineering Centre & Milwaukee Product Management for new product / offering development to meet market needs
• Conduct market research on competitor product offerings to differentiate company’s offerings from competitors and promote value features to market
• Participate in training on systems and products applications to enhance systems knowledge and ensure successful integration between application development, system design and operations
• Direct the efforts of the Application Development Team and provide specific functional and technical expertise, where required
• Partner with installation team to provide field and customer feedback to application development team
• Compile documentation and training to the customers about the configuration deployed to live
• Involve in design and pre-bid activities as necessary

What we look for

Required

• Higher Diploma or above in IT, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
• Solid skills about cause and effect and control logic
• Professionally presenting technical details such as flow charts, logic matrix, user manuals, etc
• Able to handle and solve problems independently and report to supervisor the end result accordingly
• Fresh Graduate will be considered as Assistant Application Engineer

Preferred

• Past experience related field such as industrial control
• Competency in project planning and have strong communication and leadership skills
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Independent and able to work under pressure
• Familiar with MS Office & AutoCAD operations
