Assistant Business Planning and Management Information Manager
Corporate Real Estate
Hang Seng’s Corporate Real Estate is a team of professionals managing nearly 300 properties in Hong Kong used by thousands of staff to support millions of customers. Whether it is a customer entering the branch or a staff collaborating in the office, the team is responsible for making it a positive experience.
Working closely with business partners and external vendors, the team covers a wide range of real estate functions. This includes planning, acquisition, design, construction/fitting out, asset management, facilities management, and administration of Hang Seng’s operational and investment real estate portfolio. The team also provides collateral appraisal services to internal business users and asset management services to external customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Business Planning and Management Information Manager .
Principal responsibilities
- Assist in the annual budget process by working closely with other Corporate Real Estate (CRE) departments and businesses and functions
- Oversee operating plan and financial reporting for robust cost control on budget
- Manage budget and cost centres of the department
- Oversee payment process and expenses arrangement, insurance matters and department’s asset management of CRE
- Assist in mitigating financial risks and fully compliance with the Bank’s internal control standards, Compliance Policies. This includes but not limited to account reconciliation.
- Assist the planning and impr and controls the Management Information and Analytics function of CRE
- Assist in providing the robust MI and metrics for supporting to optimize the CRE portfolio to provide competitive advantage to the business
- Assist in the preparation of business cases and approval process for CRE project
- Ad hoc assignments
Qualifications
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Banking, Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in finance, business planning and MI, preferably in banking and /or corporate real estate industry
- Knowledge in relation to business, financial planning and insurance within a real estate context
- Strong awareness and understanding of banking internal control and operational risk environment
- Good interpersonal and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
