PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• To maintain financial systems.

• To prepare weekly/monthly performance reporting.

• To prepare plan, update and IBP schedules to agreed deadlines.

• To maintain/develop standard costs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deputise in absence of Plant Controller.

• Prepare Plan, Update, and IBP data for submission to U.S.

• Maintain and issue standard cost data.

• Prepare and co-ordinate all Financial Planning.

• Project accounting.

• Maintain Asset Register & Capital Tracking System.

• Prepare inputs to monthly management report.

• Account for Capital & Employment Grants

• Prepare monthly depreciation.

• Manage and track the CIP programme.

• Prepare RCE’s, monitor capital expenditure and prepare PCA’s

• Prepare other schedules for issue to AIMO and U.S.

• Optimise the use of Human Resources by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communication and effective teamwork.

• Ensure goal-setting and regular performance appraisals are carried out with the individuals in the Financial Planning Team, training needs identified, training plans agreed and completed.

• Complete all activities in a safe manner ensuring that any potential safety issues and areas for improvement are addressed. Recommend / Implement improvements to EHS and foster continuous improvement to develop a safety culture.

• Ensure Environmental procedures e.g. recycling, waste minimization are adhered to and improvements made where possible.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Commerce or similar third level qualification and accounting qualification such as: A.C.A, A.C.C.A, A.C.M.A. or equivalent.
