Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Digital Project Lead (ADPL) to be part of our dynamic team. The incumbent will deliver different types of digital projects. He/ She will assist Digital Project Lead (DPL) on the initial project feasibility study and end-to-end project execution. The ADPL will work closely with DPL, agencies, internal IT and business stakeholders on planning, management, execution & delivery of digital products/platforms. Moreover, he/she will also provide supports to other project owners at individual business units, which includes advices on project execution and alerts on potential project risks. Together with DPL, the ADPL will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned projects are delivered within time, budget and adheres to quality. The candidate is expected to be creative and visionary, with strong business acumen and solid technical knowledges, he/she can bridge the gap between technology and business, and shepherd ideas from the visionary stage to execution stage.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovation/digital projects across multiple business units, as well as be part of the cross-functional team to achieve project goals
  • Assess the viability of new projects, identify the requirements to execute new ideas, and ensure a project is technically and operationally feasible as well as economically justifiable.
  • Establish detailed and realistic project scopes after identifying and validating both business and technical parameters.
  • Assure quality in deliverables by closely managing project implementation, communicating efficiently with different parties, identifying project risks in advance, running comprehensive QA tests; maintaining a clear set of project and technical documentations.
  • Track budget and provide project status reports regularly.

 

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should have:

  • Degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, IT or Digital-related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in running digital projects, experience in Sitecore, website, enterprise level solutions and mobile application is a must. Experience in SharePoint is a plus
  • Knowledge in retail systems & applications is a plus
  • PMP® or PRINCE2® certification is required
  • Confident in working closely with both technical and business team. A strong facilitator between IT and business worlds
  • Ability to conduct technical feasibility study for new ideas and digital projects
  • Strong in project management, vendor and stakeholder management
  • Self-motivated and capable to work with minimal supervision; ability to work under pressure
  • Digital savvy. Passionate about the latest technology, data and problem solving
  • A strong and confident communicator who can work independently and interact effectively with all levels of people
  • Literacy in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese is mandatory. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
