Assistant Director
(Post Ref.: 20/114/SW)
The appointee will play a leading role in strategic planning and management of academic programmes, including (a) programme development, management and promotion; (b) quality assurance and academic team supervision; (c) programme accreditation and review; (d) liaison with academic and industry partners for programme development; and (e) committee work.
Requirements
Applicants should have a recognized higher degree (preferably a doctoral degree) and substantial teaching and programme management experience gained in the tertiary education sector. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Preference will be given to those with a strong background in the development and management of self-funded sub-degree programmes. Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on fixed-term contract, which will be renewable subject to mutual agreement.
