WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the main tasks of the position will be the following:
- Monitor daily accounting operations
- Prepare corporate reports
- Assist the department with the interpretation of information and training sessions, analyze revenues, payments and any other information related to the company's business expenses
- Represent the Accounting or Controlling team, as well as the CFO, in his or her absence
- Maintain the accounting and control systems, providing accurate data necessary for all required reports and financial statements
- Actively participate in the preparation of internal and external audit reports
- Prepare and post daily accounting entries, ensuring the efficient completion of all month-end closing
- Control, supervise and prepare the reconciliation and analysis of month-end balance sheet accounts
- Participate in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets, the strategic plans and monthly operational forecasts
- Coordinate and ensure that all daily, monthly, half-yearly and annual management reports are timely and accurate
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Relevant university degree or appropriate specialization
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience at executive level
- Familiarity with financial management software and operating systems
- Excellent administrative, organizational and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to handle urgent matters on an ad hoc basis
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
