Assistant Director of Finance & Business support

What you will be doing:

• As Assistant Director of Finance & Business support, you will support the finance and purchasing department. 
• Reporting into the Director of finance, you will bring your expertise to support the day to day operational needs of the departments and assist in focusing on results, performance and optimising costs.

Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and weekly financial reports including forecasting of profits.  
• Preparation for audit, VAT and IRPF, tourist taxes, others including compliance with payment deadlines. 
• Supervision of Income Audit, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable. 
• Ensure compliance with all departmental/company procedures and highlighting issues if necessary.   
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closures within the deadlines set and using the tools defined by Accor. 
• Work closely with wider hotel team to ensure a functional understanding of departmental financial reporting and other metrics key drivers and P&Ls.  
• Organize and maintain the setup of the operational and accounting systems following the USALI standard for hotel accounting practices 
• Supervise closeling with the fiancial director the preparation of the company and financial audit. 

• Help and contribute  in the development of business strategy in line with the hotel vision, mission and business objectives (budget, forecast)
