OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, the Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) is responsible for formulating the strategies and policies for the development of mission-critical information systems to cope with the vision and mission of the University. He/She will lead a team of system developers to develop, maintain and implement information systems, such as Student Information System, Financial Information System and Human Resources System; to support the daily operations of academic and administrative offices/departments; and to provide various levels of information for the diversified stakeholders of the University community. He/She should possess not only the expertise in information systems development, but also rich knowledge in IT infrastructure, multi-tiers applications as well as database system. Strong business sense of the operations in higher education sector would definitely be a competitive edge.

The Assistant Director of Information Technology (Information Systems) should have strong academic credentials with substantial years of work experience at a senior level. He/She should possess strong leadership with effective communication and interpersonal skills, and substantial project management experience with a proven record of achievement in the field of information systems development.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
