Job Description

Would you like to be part of leading one of the most ambitious offshore wind farm projects in the world?

Join us and become Assistant EPC Director where you’ll support the EPC Director in leading one of our offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan. Working as Assistant EPC Director, you’ll be supporting the execution of the offshore wind farm project CHW01/02a. You’ll act as leader in the construction phase and take the full accountability in the project closing phase and the transfer to Operations. You’ll be reporting directly to the EPC Director and be part of the Project Leadership team of the CHW01/02a project.

Your key tasks will be to

  • lead project team members in your area of responsibility
  • manage part of the project scope, schedule, and cost
  • secure the quality of deliverables within your project scope
  • ensure excellent Quality and HSE performance as contribution to the organization’s overall QHSE objectives for our project
  • manage project risks.

In addition, you’ll manage relevant internal stakeholders and external project stakeholders from the Taiwanese authorities and Taipower (TSO).

Your competences include that you

  • have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering
  • have moderate experience with infrastructure construction projects, preferably in the area of onshore/offshore substations, or offshore projects
  • have good knowledge of international project management standards such as PMI, IPMA, or PRINCE2
  • have substantial experience leading teams, preferably in a multicultural environment, and knowledge of how to navigate in strong matrix organizations
  • have business insight and understand the key drivers and levers that influence business performance
  • speak and write Mandarin and – as we operate in a global environment – English fluently.

Furthermore, you have the ability to expand your network within our global organization. You’re a strong leader as well as a good communicator, excelling at explaining complex matters in a simple way. You’re constantly looking to challenge the status quo to do things better, and you have the ability to see the bigger picture at all times while understanding the importance of minding the details. Finally, you can handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing perspective, and you see working in a challenging project within a multicultural organization as your preferred challenge.
