Responsibilities:

The Assistant Editor works closely with the Senior Editors conducting research, writing copy and editing content for LP – Luxury Properties, an industry-leading magazine covering luxury real estate, design and architecture in China and around the world.

A key role of the Assistant Editor is to gather market intelligence and information on industry news, design trends, and project launches. Other key duties include editing advertorial content, polishing translated (Chinese to English) features, fact-checking and ensuring a uniform style and consistent quality across all magazine sections.


Qualifications:

- Native English speaker with university education in journalism or related discipline;
- Bilingual for English and Chinese is a MUST;
- 2+ years of journalism experience, preferably in a luxury-related publication;
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills, able to contribute creative articles for print and online channels;
- Organized, self-motivated, possessing attention to detail, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines;
