Job Description

Assistant Educational Development Manager
Teaching and Learning Centre
(Post Ref.: 20/32/SW)

The appointee is required to provide a variety of solid administrative and professional support at supervisory level to the Centre, including:
(1) Implementation of Outcomes-based Approach to Teaching and Learning (OBATL);
(2) Development of teaching and learning initiatives;
(3) Implementation of technology-enhancement learning;
(4) Grant(s) and scheme(s) related to teaching and learning;
(5) Committee works;
(6) Quality assurance matters;
(7) Office management;
(8) Other duties assigned by supervisor(s).

Requirements
Applicants should have: (i) a Bachelor’s degree and preferably a higher degree; (ii) at least 5 years of substantial administrative experience in higher/tertiary education sector or related field; (iii) excellent command of both Chinese and English, with good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; (iv) strong report/paper writing ability and analytical skill; (v) attention to details and ability to handle multiple tasks; (vi) ability to supervise a small team; (vii) strong sense of responsibility and taking initiative; (viii) ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently, and also be a good team player; (ix) high proficiency in IT applications. Candidates with more/less experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
