Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our professional and dynamic Hotel. Reporting directly to an experienced Executive Housekeeper, you will be ensuring our dedicated team of room attendants, housepersons and public area attendants are engaged, safe and productive and achieve the highest standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas and Heart of House. 

You will be confident to act as the Housekeeping leader in the absense of the Executive Housekeeper, and will be experienced with making time sensitive decisions relating to the effective and efficient cleanliness of the Hotel. 

What will you be doing?

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance and labour planning to meet with activity in the Hotel so as to maintain cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure that room cleaning productivity monitored closely and maintained
  • Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to facilitate the efficient and effective staffing of department to achieve financial and service quality targets.
  • Achieve effective communication by briefing and debriefing staff, holding regular departmental meetings and actively encouraging transparent communication with other departments within the hotel.
  • Ensure the implementation of the 16 ALLSAFE label standards and other required actions
  • Recruit staff that are technically skilled or have potential to be through training, and have a natural inclination towards customer focused service.
