FINANCE OFFICE

The Office invites applications for two Assistant Finance Manager posts. The appointees are expected to assist the Finance Manager in supervising a small team of accounting staff to perform a wide variety of tasks, including financial analysis, planning and monitoring, budgeting and resource allocations, participation in the compilation of annual financial report and statutory audit of the University, CAPEX reporting as well as provision of financial advice to faculties and administrative departments. They are responsible for handling full set of subsidiaries’ accounts, liaising with external auditors, tax representatives and company secretaries for statutory audit reporting and secretarial filings, and assisting in developing financial projections for the existing/ new projects of the University.

Applicants should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or membership of a recognized professional accounting body with at least six years of relevant work experience, of which three years must be at supervisory level. They should possess a strong analytical mind, good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to accept new challenges, be computer literate and a self-starter. Work experience in a non-governmental organization will definitely be an advantage. Good command in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and preferably Putonghua) is also required.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
