Job summary
Outline of the Position:
Assist the Finance Manager with the financial accounting and regulatory reporting for Hong Kong Branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of the department, including daily controls, general ledger maintenance, month-end closing.
- Process approved vendor payments and staff claims throughout the month.
- Prepare reports and surveys to the HKMA and Census and Statistic Department.
- Participate in Bank’s financial system development and implementation projects.
- Provide back-up to the Finance Manager.

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Degree holder in accounting or business with professional accounting qualification
Level of minimal experience
3-5 years
Experience
3 to 4 years accounting experience in Banking (knowledge of the HKMA returns is a plus)
