Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines; Master Degree is a plus

10 years or more solid working experience with at least 5 years in the supervisory level in the areas of Luminaires / LED lighting fixture industry (preferable in export business), experience in lab test house for lighting products is an advantage

Substantial technical experience in LED lighting fixture product testing, reliability and quality

Familiar with assurance and approval / certification processes, i.e. UL, CE, Energy Star & RoHS requirement etc

Knowledge of ERP application

Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Good command of both Cantonese and Putonghua)

Proficiency in Solidwork, AutoCAD and MS Office such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Chinese words input

Able to work independently and under pressure

Self-motivated, commitment to task, problem solving and customer oriented

Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills

Effective time management to meet tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities

Lead the engineering team in PRC factory (50 members) to continue improving the product cost, performance and quality

Responsible for schedule of the new product development from design to engineering and manufacturing, include but not limited to technical drawings, sampling, packing design, BOM, product approval, tooling fabrication and supplier approval.

Continuous improvement of the work procedure to ensure compliance to customer specifications and assure that new product designs are completed on-time and within budget

Responsible for product specification and material selection to fulfill the product test requirement and approval needs. Ensure products are with best-in-class performance and quality that meet the market demand and regulation requirements

Work closely with the Product Business Team to transit development into successful product launch
