The incumbent will report to HR Manager - North East Asia, and will be responsible for providing quality HR services and professional advice in Hong Kong and participating in various HR projects and initiatives in the North East Asia including, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Provide full range of professional HR services and advice such as C&B management, performance management, manpower planning, recruitment & selection, labour relation etc.
- Drive and participate in key HR projects / programs and make recommendation and suggestions to Senior Management for improvements;
- Assist in formulating and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure that they are aligned with local legislation;
- Review and streamline processes to achieve operational efficiency and support future business growth;
- Consult with other business units in APAC region and perform centralized HR functions as assigned by the Manager;
- Take on a vital role to ensure smooth implementation of HRIS (Workday)
- Handle full employee life cycle including recruitment, on boarding and off boarding procedures
- Review monthly payroll process and coordinate T&D activities
- Ensure efficient management of work permits and employee compensation cases
- Compile periodic HR reports and data consolidation
- Participate in ad hoc HR projects within the Group as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably gained from sizable organization or the Construction / Infrastructure sector;
- Relevant experience in dealing with contractors is a plus;
- Well versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other employment-related legislation, knowledge of PRC Labour Law preferred;
- Hands-on experience in Workday is preferred but not a must;
- Mature, independent with good business acumen, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
- Strong sense of integrity and responsibility, co-operative and able to work under pressure;
- Like challenges and learning new things and skills;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua);
- Well versed with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel; and
- Immediately available is preferred.
