A well reputed Client is presently seeking an Assistant HSE Manager/Safety Officer to assist them with a large-scale Infrastructure project in Hong Kong. 

To be a successful candidate you should possess the following key skills: 

• Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years’ experience Infrastructure and Wastewater Treatment projects
• Reporting to the Operation Manager, you will develop, updates, applies and checks application of Health & Safety and Emergency policies, plans and procedures to minimize risk to the employees and the public in compliance with Health & Safety regulation
• Ensures that the plant complies with all environmental regulation regarding hazardous substances handling and disposal
• Good knowledge of wastewater treatment risks, of Quality Assurance system and familiar with applicable laws, codes and regulation of Hong Kong
• Conduct daily safety inspection and providing tool box training
• Those with immediate availability will be highly preferred
