ASSISTANT HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER (fixed term contract until January 2023)

What you will be doing:

• Assists the Executive Housekeeper with managing the day to day housekeeping business in the assigned building(s) with 150 plus employees
• Ensures that rooms are cleaned according to cleanliness, maintenance and amenities
• Ensures that employees comply with the policies and procedures
• Controls that health and safety measures are followed
• Conducts routine inspections to ensure that service level is maintained
• Monitors standards for uniforms and hygiene
• Assists in identifying training needs – on the job skills
• Collaborates with other departments in an effective and friendly manner

Your experience and skills include:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
• At least 6 years of housekeeping experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a large scale property
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• A hands-on approach is essential
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
