Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Laundry
Creating an engaging work environment for colleagues is as important as turning moments into memories for our guests. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Laundry is an integral role within our hotel, reporting to the Director, Housekeeping- overseeing laundry operation for the hotel.

What you will be doing:

  • Effectively lead employee relations within the Linen Room team
  • Complete weekly linen order and monthly inventory 
  • Ensure effective communication and relationship building with laundry suppliers
  • Handle both guest and colleague concerns and follow up on actions required
  • Maintain preventive maintenance program of all equipment and ensure timely repairs
  • Maintain an accurate uniform inventory for all otel departments
  • Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

  • Leadership experience within Laundry or Housekeeping preferred
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Knowledge of the Property Management System/Opera
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Physical aspects include but are not limited to:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
