Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement and sustain technology solutions, including software, hardware and vendor services (eg. email and end-user tools, backup and security tools, authentication, OS, server virtualisation, firewall, routers, switches cloud environments etc).
• Provide technical advice and support to business users, application teams, vendors and external partners.
• Manage the outsourced IT Helpdesk team to deliver prompt, effective and friendly support to end-users. Standardise processes and procedures.
• Lead IT projects and initiatives. Instruct vendors to sustain system environments and exercise quality control.
• Maintain the inventory of computer assets and software licences.
• Monitor system capacity and vendor service utilisation, identify opportunity to optimise and streamline, champion changes to best utilise resources and provide an efficient workplace for users.
• Integrate system and information security in the design, implementation, and sustainment of technology solutions, especially for end-users’ solutions.

Requirements

• University degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in multiple areas, for instance, IT end-user services delivery, Microsoft Office 365 administration and support, end-user hardware and software, Windows and Linux platform management and upgrade, network, firewall and IT security etc.
• Certificate on Microsoft products, network, OS platform, IT security, PMP, ITIL is preferred.
• Strong customer service and continuous improvement mind-set. Able to drive and deliver changes to add-value to the business.
• Sound project management and IT service management skills. Experience in outsourcing and vendor management.
• Has curiosity and competency to
  pick-up skill-set in unfamiliar technology areas.
• Independent, self-motivated and innovative with good problem solving skills. Team-player.
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese.
