Duties

The appointee will be required but not limited to:

  • handle user support services and provide technical advice to end users;
  • carry out operating system and application installation, administration and on-going support;
  • manage and support IT/AV facilities in classroom, lecture theatres, specialized laboratories and computer laboratory;
  • setup and support IT/AV equipment in all College activities within and outside campus;
  • provide user training workshops for various systems;
  • perform stock keeping and inventory management of IT/AV equipment, hardware/software procurement and other administrative tasks;
  • perform other duties as assigned by Head of ITSO or his/her delegates; and
  • work on multiple campuses and shift duties in evenings and weekends on a roster basis.



Requirements

Applicants should:

  • possess a recognized degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines;
  • have some experience in IT user support services and audio-visual equipment setup and operations;
  • have experience in event support in higher education institution is an advantage;
  • have strong troubleshooting abilities;
  • have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • have strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently on projects as well as collaborate with the team.


Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
