Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively contributes to the achievement of monthly BU sales targets by achieving sales, profit and merchandising objectives in key accounts together with commercial team
Defines and achieves strategic objectives of key customers in joint-business plan: sales, gross margin, profit, pricing and promotional strategy.
Ensures its execution including product distribution, assortment and placement as well as specific events (exhibitions, road shows) in close collaboration with NSM, Marketing and Trade
Manages customer negotiations including trading terms aligned with commercial strategy to build long term partnership
Conducts regular reviews with key accounts to continuously improve performance through sales data and inventory analysis
Contributes to training and developing of the account sales staff specially on new product launches
Identifies new business opportunities in key accounts and work closely with Sales/commercial Manager to translate opportunities into actionable plans
Monitors competitive pressures to develop/modify commercial strategies and tactics efficiency and profitability and overall improve management of our Business with key accounts
Attends networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance company’s visibility, maintain awareness of external factors (competition, government business initiatives, legislation in relation to commercial activities) and optimize BD opportunities
Shares accountability within the BU of Financial Performance (top line and MOP) and executional success of new product launches
Strictly follows and ensures enforcement across team of China laws and regulations regarding sales and promotion, follows Industry code and Galderma Code of Ethics. Undisputable integrity during sales call and expenses report in compliance with company policies
Requirement:
Education/Training :
Bachelor degree in Business with experience OTC/FMCG and pharmaceutical environment
Excellent communication skills in English on top of Mandarin
Work Experience :
5+ years of working experience in Key Account Management, in Consumer Health or in FMCG companies with experience in Modern Trade
Strong project management and analytical skills, ability to work and influence in a cross-functional team organization
Demonstrated ability to successfully over achieve sales plans and proactively manage customer expectations to meet Business objectives
Solid understanding of regulatory and legal requirements in China pharmaceutical trade industry and compliance track record
