The Job

Perform chemical testing in the laboratory independently

Assist Laboratory Manager to lead and manage the technical team to ensure the smooth operation

Assist to prepare, revise and update documents related to laboratory testing and quality control

Test supervision and review results; approve production worksheets and necessary test reports.

Maintain working environment per Quality Management System; ensure all laboratory equipment’s maintained and calibrated as planned, as well as performs the uncertainties measurement.

Analyze problem areas and implement solutions; troubleshoot technical issues and other ad-hoc matters

Responsible for inventory and housekeeping management

Implement and maintain HOKLAS/ ISO 17025 requirements in the laboratory.

Working location at Fotan

The Person

Degree in chemistry/ environmental science/ relevant subject with a good focus in analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis
2-3 year experience working in analytical laboratory, with hands on experience with ICP, GC, LC or other analytical instruments
Familiar with ISO 17025;
Good communication skills; ability to cooperate with other departments and suppliers/customers
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Knowledge of environmental and regulatory requirements an advantage
Solid computer skills, using MS office and Chinese word processing
Immediate available is a definite advantage
