Assistant Lecturer (English) (at the rank of Programme Officer) (Ref: 200035D)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• Teaching English courses at Diploma Yi Jin and sub-degree levels;
• Assisting in programme/course planning, development and coordination;
• Supporting the School’s operations; and
• Participating in School/University activities.   

Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

• Having met the Language Proficiency Requirement for Teachers (English) laid down by the Education Bureau or equivalent;
• A higher degree with relevant professional qualifications in a related discipline;
• Teaching/administration experience in tertiary/continuing education and/or professional experience in related subject areas preferred; and
• Good interpersonal skills with proficiency in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua).

Applicants who are able to teach other subjects at Diploma Yi Jin and Higher Diploma levels will be an added advantage.

Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package including basic salary, end-of-contract gratuity and discretionary incentive (if any) will be offered to the right candidate.
