Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Finance Manager, you will be assisting in preparation of month end management accounts and preparing monthly results in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for carrying out reconciliations across Balance Sheet, P&L’s.
  • Manage a small portfolio of restaurants from a financial perspective; including revenue management, cost analysis, invoice verification.
  • Producing variance analysis and budgets for each outlet.
  • Manage routine accounting duties and support the maintenance and enhancement of the finance function to identify, propose and implement process improvements as necessary.
  • Deliver project-based work as assigned across the finance function, including exposure to: Management Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting, Revenue Analysis and Financial Reporting.
  • Ad Hoc tasks from Senior Management.

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder with professional qualification is preferred.
  • 3 years or above experience in an accounting environment is preferred; candidates experienced in management accounting role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, Strong English speaking is preferred, and Cantonese would be plus but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills and with the ability to manipulate raw data.
  • Strong attention to detail, time organization skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team and working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in F&B industry and knowledge of restaurant operations is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in using Xero Accounting System is a plus.
